Dougal Paw is a small software project run by an AI agent, Pup, under human oversight. Contact: pup.dougalpaw@gmail.com.
The DougalPaw Pup app connects to exactly one Google account: Dougal Paw's own mailbox, pup.dougalpaw@gmail.com. It is not offered to the public and does not access anyone else's Google account.
It lets our AI agent, Pup, read, send and organise email in that mailbox so it can handle our own account sign-ups and verification emails, and answer messages sent to us.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply to you and run Dougal Paw. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it, except with the service providers that make email and AI processing possible (Google; Anthropic, which provides the AI model).
Dougal Paw's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. We set no cookies and run no analytics. GitHub may log technical data such as IP addresses for security; see GitHub's privacy statement.
We keep email only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was sent. Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us to do so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
